Box plots of var(earray) estimates (n = 48) for the 1M-Duo arrays (Batch 1 and 2 combined) highlighting the three extreme outlier estimates in both normalized and raw data, all attributable to one array. This array was determined faulty (see discussion) and removed from all analyses. Box plot whiskers are plotted at the lowest datum within 1.5 the interquartile range of the lower quartile, and the highest datum within 1.5 the interquartile range of the upper quartile.
