From: SOX5 is involved in balanced MITF regulation in human melanoma cells
Expression of SOX5, MITF and SOX10 in 59 cell lines of the National Cancer Institute (NCI-60 panel). The expression of SOX5, MITF and SOX10 was compared between melanoma samples in the NCI-60 panel and the remaining cancer types. All three genes showed significantly higher expression in melanoma cell lines. Statistical significance was determined by two-sided two-sample Student’s t-tests. ***p < 0.001; ****p < 0.0001
