Significance values were generated by comparing the fold-change in gene expression between expression levels in the dataset of Varambally et al., (2005) and examining benign (BN), localised prostate cancer (PCa) and metastatic (MET) samples. A two sample Student's t-Test with a one-tailed distribution was used to obtain the p-values.
