There was a significant Diagnosis × Probeset interaction effect on DSC2 expression, with a significant decrease in DSC2 expression in subjects with schizophrenia (shown in blue) compared to controls (shown in red). (b) The DSC2 probeset with the most significant diagnosis effect was probeset 3803005 (p = 2.06 × 10-5) and is depicted by dot plot. These findings were validated by qPCR (p = 0.0038).
