Independent validation of differential expression of the gene set in pDCIS and DCIS/IBC-tumours by qPCR. Expression of MMP11 increases significantly from pDCIS to DCIS of DCIS/IBC mixed tumours and IBC (P < 0.05) and COL10A1 increases significantly from pDCIS to DCIS of DCIS/IBC mixed tumours (P < 0.05). Differences in expression of the remaining genes are not significant (n.s.). PCR values are normalized to GAPDH, ACTB and YWHAZ
