Kaplan-Meier analysis for individual pathway activity as a factor for survival in ovarian cancer. The patient cohort was from Bild et al. [1] Results from the Src pathway using Bild's method were not significant when corrected for multiple hypothesis testing (p = 0.04), while the p-value generated using EPSA and Cox proportional-hazards was highly significant (p = 0.0004). Note that although the EPSA curves show only the extreme tertiles of subjects, Cox proportional-hazards analysis was performed across all subjects in order to be directly comparable with the results in Bild et al.
