Fitted lines were generated using linear regression performed within two sub-groups, with (orange) (beta = 0.4617) and without (blue) (beta = 0.1778) obesity defined as BMI ≥ 30 kg/m2 (unadjusted TG x BMI interaction beta = 0.179, p = 0.045). TG levels are natural log (2ln) transformed. The dashed black line indicates the natural log transformed value of the lower-bound clinical cut-off that defines mild-moderate HTG (1.7 mmol/L), thus above this line individuals would be classified as having mild-moderate hypertriglyceridemia
