Hierarchical clustering and heat map analysis of individual gene expression profiles: A heat map depiction of the transcriptomic profiles of all samples analyzed by microarray is presented. Red bars indicate relatively high signal intensity for the gene product in question, with blue representing lower intensity and grey intermediate. Clustering of the samples is indicated by the dendrogram on top; it is apparent that all 5 undifferentiated samples cluster together (have the highest degree of similarity with each other), and the same is true for the 4 7-day differentiated samples and the 6 21-day differentiated samples.
